MARY STEADMAN

Concierge

Mary Steadman has over 23 years’ experience in the luxury service industry and over 28 years in the customer service industry. Mary is a trainer, guest lecturer while also has managed numerous businesses and teams in the hotel, luxury travel & concierge, call centre and retail environment focused on premium customers.

Mary worked for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts for 5 years as Concierge and Assistant Chef Concierge of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Canada. She also worked for an SLH Property-Windsor Arms Hotel as Front Office Manager/Chef Concierge for 3 years. During her time in the hotel business, she was an active full member of Les Clefs d’Or Canada, holding the positions of secretary of Les Clefs d’Or Ontario for two terms and one term as Vice Director of Les Clefs d’Or Ontario.

In 2008 she launched the American Express Canadian Centurion Concierge service and lead that team for 3 years. In 2011 she relocated to Brighton, UK as Head of Concierge Services for American Express UK. In 2014 she moved to London, UK as Head of Services at Westfield Europe Limited. During her time at American Express and Westfield, she was an active corporate member of Les Clefs d’Or Ontario, the Golden Keys of Great Britain and was successful as a mentor for a retail student at Brighton University from 2013-2014. From 2015-2018 she was Director of Partner Relations at Insignia-Lifestyle Boutique, a Lifestyle Management company for high-net-worth clients.

Mary has held board positions for Connections, an international private community for trusted decision-makers in high-end travel , The Bürgenstock Selection Advisory Board and is currently working on a project for the Andorra Tourism Board.

Currently Mary is Co-Owner and Director of Partners of LURA Lifestyle Management. and Co-Founder of Stiel & Steadman Service Solutions.  She is also the Creator of the LURA Listens podcast and Co-Creator of the Service LOVE Podcast.
